Privacy Policy

ZuckOff filters Instagram and YouTube content locally on your device. It does not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history or the content of pages you visit.

Your filtering preferences, pause and feed cooldown deadlines, and the time the Safari extension last connected are stored on your device so the app and extension can work. ZuckOff does not require an account or send this information to a ZuckOff server. These local records remain until you change the relevant setting or remove the app and extension.

ZuckOff uses Google User Messaging Platform to manage advertising consent and Google AdMob to offer optional rewarded advertising. These Google services may process device identifiers, approximate location, advertising data, app interactions, and diagnostic information when privacy choices are requested or ads are loaded or shown. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, and service operation according to your consent choices and Google's Privacy Policy.

With your tracking permission, ZuckOff uses Meta’s SDK to share app activation events and device identifiers for advertising measurement. You can change tracking permission in your iPhone’s Settings. ZuckOff’s Safari extension does not include the Meta SDK.

You can decline the Google consent request and Apple's separate tracking request and continue using Safari filtering. When regional ad privacy choices are available, use Ad privacy options in the ZuckOff app to review or withdraw them. You can change Apple tracking permission in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If an ad cannot be shown, the requested pause or feed restoration is granted without an ad. You can remove ZuckOff's local settings by deleting the app. For information Google holds, see its Privacy Policy.
